Having read one gentleman's review of his poor experience, with some intrepidation and a sense of humour, passport and credit card in hand, we approached the Reception in this stunning Château. We received the warmest of welcomes and were shown to a stunning room, with a balcony leading onto an exquisite view of the lake. Nothing was too much trouble and we were provided with information on where to dine that evening, as the restaurant was closed due to it being a Sunday. The staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We also experienced no issues with Wifi connections. We took the boats out on the lake to row around the moat, taking in the gorgeous views. We dined in the Creperie next to the Chateau (cannot recommend highly enough). After the best night's sleep in the most comfortable bed and a refreshing shower in a beautiful bathroom, we went downstairs to a sumptuous breakfast with the stunning backdrop of the geese flying over the tranquil lake and surrounding gardens. I did not want to leave this magical place! Cannot recommend highly enough and cannot wait until the next time I can return. Thank you Château d'Ermoneville and all the staff.

The surroundings of this old castle is beautiful and romantic. You can also choose to row a boat out and the scenery is astounding. The premises is great for a walk with ducks roaming. There is ample free parking at the entry gate, you can drive by the reception to drop off luggage, and park back at the gate. The gate helps to keep the property private. Elevator available too, so no issues for heavy luggage. Didn't eat at the restaurants within the chateau so I cannot comment. Just outside the gate of the chateau, had really delicious meals. For myself who values ambience and surroundings, the stay was for me a very good experience and a nice romantic closure to my 17-day France trip.

This Chateau is a wonderful historical place! Beautiful castle with a lake and a park with swans and ducks. History of Chateau is connected with such names as Bugatti and Jean-Jacque Rousseau. All rooms of the hotel are historical and different. The hotel is not totally renovated, so you will experience a real charm and history. But bathrooms and beds are new and are comfortable. Everything is clean. Breakfast with totally homemade farmed products is wonderful! Overall is a good value for money! If you arrive with the car it’s perfect location comparing to overpriced hotels of Paris. No parking problems and convenient location from airport and business Expo areas makes it perfect.

The staff was very attentive and kind. I arrived 3 hours early for check exhausted from a transatlantic flight. They offered me coffee and tea and made a room available for me well ahead of check in. Breakfast was amazing, with honey collected from their own beehives, tasting of the intoxicating aromas of the morning’s walk. Most foods were either made in house or from local artisans and cultivators. The space was tranquil and the views incredible. It’s a highly recommended stay, especially Fridays and Saturdays when their chefs prepare dinner with hyper local items on the menu.

The staff is exceptionally helpful, accommodating, and very personable yet professional. The dining experience overall was outstanding with unique gourmet meals which were exquisite. In addition, the breakfast had a broad selection of delicious high quality protein and carbohydrate items to fit anyone's dietary needs. The hotel grounds are park like and the serenity of the area is wonderful. All of that combined with the history of the chateau made it a lovely relaxing experience.
